Many of you know that running a business isn't glamorous. The challenging days often outnumber the rewarding ones. Today, however, was a day to be grateful at the studio. Seven years ago today. The second "PitchBlack" was held in front of 200+ folks at Instrument. Lindsey Murphy took home the big prize. Now five events later, we've had more than 3,000 attendees, giving more than $500,000 to Black owned businesses and created the largest one day pitch event for Black founders in the country. NEW CASE STUDY! In 2022, Liana Soifer, a transracial adoptee born in South Korea, approached Odd Notion with a vision. Her goal was to transform her fundraiser campaign for a docuseries exploring BIPOC adoptees' lives into a media company.
