Octagon Capital Group is excited to announce the acquisition of Saber Interactive from Embracer Group by Beacon Interactive, a new company founded by Saber's co-founder Matthew Karch. With over 38 games and 3,000+ world-class developers and employees, the new company is a leading independent game development platform with world-class talent, tremendous IP, and an incredibly robust pipeline of games. The acquisition includes all Saber-branded studios as well as Nimble Giant, 3D Realms, Sandbox Strategies, New World Interactive, Slipgate, Mad Head Games, Fractured Byte, and DIGIC, in addition to all owned and licensed IP held by these entities. Saber also has an option to acquire Metro Developer 4A Games, and Pinball developer Zen Studios for a fixed price.
