The Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) is a public agency that provides wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal services for approximately 2.6 million people in central and northwest Orange County. OC San is a special district that is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 25 board members appointed from 20 cities, two sanitary districts, two water districts and one representative from the Orange County Board of Supervisors. OC San has two operating facilities that treat wastewater from residential, commercial, and industrial sources.

We are pleased to announce that All American Marine, Inc and ABB are collaborating on the development of a new hybrid-electric ocean sampling vessel for the Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) in Southern California. https://ow.ly/am9c50U6xRC ABB’s hybrid-electric propulsion system has been selected for this advanced ocean sampling catamaran, offering exceptional energy efficiency, and reduced environmental impact. The vessel will comply with the California Air Resources Board’s annual equivalence requirements for Zero-Emission Capable Hybrid Vessels. This environmentally friendly vessel will support OC San’s Ocean Monitoring Program, ensuring the waters remain safe for swimming, fishing, and marine life. OC San hosted the State of OC San on Friday, October 25 with more than 175 local, county, state, and federal dignitaries, along with community members, in attendance. During the event, our Board Chairman Ryan Gallagher from the City of Tustin, provided a comprehensive update on OC San, our accomplishments, and the future direction of the agency.
