"This grade reflects tremendous skill, immense dedication and unwavering compassion from every person on our team at St. Mary Medical Center," stated Riley Waddell, chief executive officer, Ochsner LSU Health – St. Mary Medical Center. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade hospital ratings program is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring. "In addition to physical improvements, we hired more than 100 doctors, surgeons and other clinicians. Today, we see more than 670,000 clinic visits each year. Today is World Menopause Day and we recognized it at Ochsner LSU Health with a Lunch and Learn at St. Mary Medical Center. Dr. Kristy Waltman, an OB/GYN with Ochsner LSU Health led the presentation, panel discussion and Q&A session. Kudos to Bonnie Hughes and Chaunta Mero for working together bring this event to more than 50 women. The day was also commemorated with a proclamation from Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux, presented by Leigh Anne Evensky the City’s Director of Communications.
