Last week, Oceantic CEO Liz Burdock and part of the #NetworkTeam attended the International Workboat Show in New Orleans. They kicked off the week at ABS’s annual Offshore Wind Forum, where Liz delivered a presentation on the future of offshore wind in the U.S. Later that night, Oceantic hosted a Member Happy Hour at Mulate’s. We love hosting member happy hours as a valuable way to connect everyone and, selfishly, we get the opportunity to chat with many of you in person! At Workboat, we also met many members and industry professionals at both the Oceantic booth and Member Lounge to discuss the industry, particularly how Oceantic is working now to move the U.S. industry forward and support a growing supply chain. Rhode Island voted YES in approving four bond initiatives with bond #4 investing $53 million into 'jolting' the state's economy. ??? ?? "Funding from the Green Bond will prepare Quonset’s Port of Davisville – and Rhode Island – to serve as a key offshore wind hub for years to come, serving the rapidly growing offshore wind industry in the North Atlantic. This investment will also create new, high-paying jobs and help the state to meet its climate goals.” ??
