Oceanside Library was proud to host the Bridges Program with Oceanside High School! ??? This impactful event, led by English teacher and Bridges Coordinator Joseph LaTorre, brought together approximately 60 students to foster collaboration and connection between Oceanside and Uniondale. As Uniondale’s Director of Social Studies shared, 'The program seeks to bridge the geographic and cultural divide between our districts, despite being only 15 minutes apart.' We were honored to support this initiative and provide a space for students to learn and grow together. ???? Read more about the Bridges Program here: https://lnkd.in/drF4BbYT
