  • Oceanside Library was proud to host the Bridges Program with Oceanside High School! ??? This impactful event, led by English teacher and Bridges Coordinator Joseph LaTorre, brought together approximately 60 students to foster collaboration and connection between Oceanside and Uniondale. As Uniondale’s Director of Social Studies shared, 'The program seeks to bridge the geographic and cultural divide between our districts, despite being only 15 minutes apart.' We were honored to support this initiative and provide a space for students to learn and grow together. ???? Read more about the Bridges Program here: https://lnkd.in/drF4BbYT

  • Our staff is wearing pink today for breast cancer awareness. As you know, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is all of October, but this is something we hold near and dear. Together, we honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost. ??
