These contracts join those which have also been appraised at an ML3 for CMMI Development. CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations to business goals. Obsidian is committed to continuous improvement and achieving project and organizational performance objectives, and shall strive to advance its maturity as it grows its business.

At the DHS?CyberCON?2024 conference, Obsidian joined a Live Fire Threat Hunt Competition, facing off against threat hunt teams from various DHS components, including CBP and TSA, as well as agencies like the Department of State. Zelealem Butune, an Obsidian employee, was a senior threat hunter for the DHS NOSC team, which secured the 1st place trophy in the competition.

This is a picture of perserverance. Thanks to the incredibly beuracratic process that exists within the DoD contract world, this team has waited 10 months to unite. But the future is now and I’m beyond excited to lead these and the other 100+ individuals as we design, deploy and sustain the future of G/TIMS. G/TIMS and TIMS will strike a nerve in many of my connections. But trust me when I say the future is BRIGHT!! These are some of the smartest, visionary, and agile people I’ve EVER worked with.
