Still, humans need to do some job as in the video. Our construction can help automate the full process.

99% of automated fulfillment systems are limited to storage and retrieval. There are dozens of #robotics solutions that do the same thing in slightly different ways. However ?????????? ?????? ???????? ?????????? ?????????????????? ?????????????????????? ?????????????????? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ??????????????, ?????????????????? ?????? ?????? ??????????????. Brightpick goes way beyond a traditional AS/RS, extending its capabilities to: ?? ????-?????????? ?????????????? ??????????????: Boosts picking speed by 2x, maximizes labor savings and enables overnight picking while everyone is asleep ??? ?????????????????? ???????????? ??????????????: Picks fast-moving items directly from pallets or cases, eliminating the need to decant into totes ?? ???????????? ????????????: Stores picked orders inside the system, unlocking advanced and overnight picking to increase daily throughput ?? ???????????? ??????????????????????????: Consolidates orders across multiple totes or picking zones, streamlining fulfillment of large orders ??? All this with a single robot type that uses standard shelving and totes, designed for quick installation in any warehouse environment ?? #logistics #supplychain

Humanoids are not the future of universal robotics. At least not near (10 years) future. Thank you Jan Zizka for the insight.

Founder and CEO @ Brightpick | Founder @ Photoneo | AI robots for fully automated order fulfillment??

Safety in humanoid #robots is a hugely underrated problem. The biggest promise of humanoid robots is their ability to work alongside humans in any environment. But until safety is guaranteed, this is fundamentally impossible to achieve. Here are the two biggest challenges: ??. ???????????? ?? Humanoids need batteries. This makes them heavy. If one falls on you / your child / dog, it could cause serious harm or even death. Legged robots increase this risk exponentially. That's why I'm a big advocate for wheeled locomotion, which is inherently more stable and safe. That's one of the reason why our Brightpick robots can move freely around humans without the need for safety fencing. ??. ???????????? ?????????? ?? Traditional hydraulic actuators are inherently unsafe near humans (that's why industrial robots are typically caged). Electric actuators are safer, but they still have ground to cover in terms of cost and performance. In addition, you also need expensive safety sensors to prevent fingers or limbs from getting jammed. These problems will be solved. But it will likely take years before humanoid robots become safe, reliable, and cost-effective enough to be useful in the real world. #robotics #innovation

Are humanoids the future of robotics? Most engineers say "no". Nice video.

HUMANOIDS! In this Sunday's top-of-mind video, I talk about humanoid robots. Everything from the type of work they might or might not do, what our robotically-rich future might look like, and why I think we're seeing a surge of activity here now. 9 minutes this week, so grab your coffee and enjoy! Tomorrow, Monday 11am PT, I'm going to host a LinkedIn Live Ask-Me-Anything session specifically to go deeper in the recent news around humanoids. If that goes well, I may try another later this week when more folks are around. Hope you get a chance to enjoy the long weekend! #humanoids #robots #topofmind

Humanoids fall over (sometimes very dangerously) after for example battery failure :/ Working with humans in the near future looks rather like science fiction.
