We were honored to be invited to the NAJAS Annual Meeting & AJS-JAS International Symposium held in Portland.?It was a privilege to meet so many participants from Japan and America, representing different groups, organizations, government officials and corporations. What stood out to us was the common thread of a shared commitment to strengthening the relationship between the USA and Japan. We truly value the networks, connections and friendships we have built, always keep in mind the bigger picture “We are all family on this planet”. Thank you so much to everyone who made this event so successful and gave us hope for a better future!?We would like to share a quote we heard during this event which has become one of our favorite sayings: “If you want to go fast, go alone. I do not know for sure which of my great-uncles brought the flag home, but since finding out about your society I feel it is only right to send this to you.
