Right now, Medicare doesn’t cover FDA-approved obesity medications, which creates barriers for millions of Americans needing access to evidence-based obesity treatments. This must change! The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) has proposed expanding coverage of obesity medications, and more than 30,000 people submitted public comments in support of the rule.
