We are constantly inspired by the impact of our team and the ways in which they are able to support our mission to advance primary care. Our Patient Engagement team recently spoke with a patient who was discharged from the hospital and in need of insulin (which was pending a refill). Unfortunately, the provider's office was closed. We quickly engaged our team - including the Oasis Value Partner - to contact the doctor directly. After realizing the insulin order was sent to the wrong pharmacy, we followed up to ensure the patient understood that the script was ready. Last week we had the opportunity to gather the Oasis Health Partners Leadership Team. It was great to celebrate the success we have had in growing our network of primary care providers and more importantly the success we have had together in improving the care patients are receiving. We see the results coming through in our Stars score improvement and increased time our providers are spending with the patients who need them most. Our first Value is "Listen First" and we had the opportunity to hear from one of our health partners about why they chose to contract with Oasis Health Partners. It came down to three simple things: 1) Our team is remarkable at engaging PCPs to build a network fast and to engage that network in the behavior change required to be successful in Value Based Care; 2) We focus on health outcomes in every decision we make; and 3) We're transparent about our plans and our capabilities. Finally, we reviewed our vision for the coming years and the talent we need to continue our successful journey. Our people have been and will continue to be what differentiates us and allows us to achieve our mission of building healthier communities. At Oasis Health Partners we believe in working hard, but know it’s important to Have Fun while we do it! Whether it’s through recognition or competition - we love finding creative ways to keep the team engaged. We recently finished the "Oasis Bowl" — where for 16 weeks 5 teams focused on implementation of several new systems - hitting milestones resulted in touchdowns, shout-outs earned field goals and provided an opportunity to support each other while we celebrated wins. From weekly scoreboards to quarterly prizes, we are SO proud of Oasis for showing what teamwork is all about! #oasisculture #havefun #servingseniors
