The countdown to our second and most significant Epic go-live continues, now officially less than 60 days away. Yesterday, the Memorial Hermann Health System team gathered for our 60-day Go Live Readiness Assessment (GLRA). We conducted a comprehensive team-by-team, application-by-application review to assess our operational and technical status. The open and transparent review allowed everyone, both in-person and on Zoom, to address current challenges collaboratively. To keep things engaging, we themed our 60-day assessment around the Olympics, with many creative costumes. Our CEO, David L Callender MD, kicked off the session by leveraging the Olympics theme, acknowledging the hard work so far and emphasizing the need for continued "training" as we approach the finish line. His advice to envision crossing the finish line and the satisfaction of reaching go-live inspired us to keep pushing forward.
