Courage, compassion, and selflessness are just a few of the words that would describe our community, regional, and executive teams as they swiftly responded to Hurricane Helene. With our Oaks at Evans residents needing to be relocated due to storm impact, both Camelia Place of Woodstock and Oaks at Aiken rose to the occasion, opening their doors to provide temporary housing and care. 关于我们
Oaks Senior Living is a different kind of senior living community - a difference which comes from the many extra things that we do every day. The love, compassion, and understanding that can only come from a dedicated family and staff is what sets us apart from the rest. When we chose to develop retirement communities in Atlanta, Ga., our mission was to provide a home that our residents would be proud to call their own. We have achieved this mission by creating an environment that promotes physical, social and spiritual well-being in a Christian setting. Providing such a high quality of life promotes, dignified living, independence and lasting friendships in an elegant, family and home-like environment. It is never easy to place a loved one in someone else’s daily care. For that matter, it is difficult to admit they need to be there in the first place. The Salabarria family understands this and strives to ensure families are as comfortable with our retirement communities as the residents are themselves. :: Communities Designed to Promote Independence Oaks Senior Living is staffed with professionally trained caregivers, selected for their knowledge, compassion and understanding of our residents’ needs. Each apartment is carefully designed to support independent living, while providing round the clock access to staff and assistance with activities of daily living. :: About Our Horizons Alzheimer’s Care Program Horizons is uniquely designed for those with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. Our uniquely designed programs enable our residents to live with encouraged dignity and individuality, while being provided the special comfort and care they deserve. We at Oaks Senior Living invite you to visit our distinctive communities in the surrounding areas of Braselton, Cumming, Pooler, and Woodstock (Towne Lake), Georgia and more. Come see for yourself the difference a TRUE “family operated” community will mean for you and your loved one.

This weekend, amidst the unprecedented impact of Hurricane Helene on many of our communities, our local Oaks teams showcased exceptional courage and care as they came together to ensure the safety of their residents. Due to extreme weather conditions, residents from Oaks at Evans had to be transported to sister communities, Camellia Place of Woodstock and Oaks at Aiken, in order for continuous care to be provided in a secure environment. We could not be more proud and grateful of not just our community team members, but our entire Oaks family from residents and family members to friends and volunteers for joining together to transport residents and provide necessary supplies.

Join us in welcoming our new Regional Director of Sales for our coastal communities in Georgia and South Carolina, Maria Robinson. Specializing in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care, Maria has been leading high-performing sales teams within the healthcare industry for over 15 years. Her passion for serving seniors began during nursing school at North Florida College, where she developed a deep connection to the senior population. This passion flourished, guiding her towards a career in sales, where she combined her healthcare expertise with her natural leadership abilities. Outside of her professional life, Maria enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and cherishing moments with her family. As a mother of four sons and a proud grandmother to three—two beautiful granddaughters and one grandson—family is central to her life and values. We are grateful to have an individual with such drive and compassion like Maria leading our community sales teams.

Over the course of this week, Oaks Senior Living communities have been taking each day to intentionally honor their Assisted Living staff and residents for Assisted Living Week. From spirit days like decade day to friends and family ice cream socials, community team members have celebrated their residents, families, and one another with joy and gratitude. It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to care and serve our assisted living population. Thank you to each team for the lengths you have gone this week, and the lengths you go every week, to love your residents.
