BRIDGEGOOD and Port of Oakland Elevate Local Designers: Inspire Oakland Artwork Now Featured at Oakland Airport – BRIDGEGOOD, in partnership with the Port of Oakland and Oakland Airport (OAK), proudly announces the display of winning artwork from the 2024 Inspire Oakland Design Challenge. Six visually stunning digital designs, crafted by Bay Area’s talented young people, are now showcased across OAK, celebrating the city’s culture, creativity, and resilience. ? The winning pieces spotlight themes such as Creativity, Accessibility & Inclusion, Black Unity, LGBTQIA+ Pride, and iconic Oakland imagery, bringing vibrant narratives to life for travelers from around the world. ? Created by Shaun Tai, Co-Founder and Executive Director of BRIDGEGOOD, the Inspire Oakland Design Challenge has, for 15 years, bridged the gap between under-resourced communities and the tech industry. The competition has empowered young artists to express their love for Oakland through powerful designs, inspiring civic pride and fostering social change. ? "The Inspire Oakland Design Challenge represents the authenticity of Oakland: a city with genuine talent, the truest diversity, and limitless innovation," said Shaun Tai, Executive Director of BRIDGEGOOD. "Through our partnership with the Port of Oakland and OAK, we’re ensuring that these stories of creativity and unity are celebrated on a global stage. This collaboration embodies the spirit of uplifting our community while inspiring others to embrace inclusion and creativity." ?
