OAI Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the NICI Southland Clean Energy Training Center! The build-out of the NICI Southland Clean Energy Training Center was made possible through the generous support of key funders, including Northern Illinois Community Initiatives (NICI), the Village of Park Forest, Illinois, Park Forest/Richton Park Neighborhood Network, which is funded by United Way of Metro Chicago, and the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development’s Transforming Places program. Their contributions provided the foundation for transforming this vision into a reality. The facility features a state-of-the-art training space equipped with EV chargers for hands-on demonstrations and practical learning, as well as office spaces for the OAI Chicago Southland Clean Energy team.
