Community Action Agencies work to alleviate poverty and empower low-income families in their communities. Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other. The Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies represents 48 agencies around the state serving the needs of low-income people in all of Ohio’s 88 counties. CAAs provide education and training, emergency services, and other assistance programs to nearly 800,000 Ohioans annually.

Thank you for attending #WLC2024 and presenting on IMPACT's BOSS UP program!
Today I was extremely excited to attend my first Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies winter conference! I was honored with the privilege to speak on the New Program Panel to share the framework and findings of the BOSS UP I manage at IMPACT Community Action with Community Action change agents from all over Ohio! What an amazing time of partnership development, professional development and networking! I truly enjoyed my experience and feel even more energized to serve Franklin County youth with workforce development opportunities that not only cultivate skills, but also develops HOPE!
