Haggard Farms is more than a development. It is a legacy in the making. This historic property has been in the Haggard family’s ownership since the mid-1800s and is now the largest undeveloped site left in Plano. Our approach blends the rich history of the Haggard Family with contemporary design, incorporating the Texas Hill Country vernacular to create spaces that feel familiar and forward-thinking. A project of this scale and significance required seamless collaboration, and we are grateful to the Haggard Family and Stillwater Capital for their trust in our team. Together, we are shaping a place that reflects history, community, and architectural excellence. #LegacyInDesign #MixedUseDevelopment #OBrienArchitects

Today, we celebrate the incredible contributions of women in architecture and beyond. International Women's Day recognizes the resilience, innovation, and leadership of women who are shaping industries, communities, and the future. As Jeanne Gang said, 'Good ideas come from everywhere. It is more important to recognize an important idea than to author it.' Collaboration and diverse perspectives drive progress, and we are proud to champion the talented women who bring vision and expertise to our team every day. Here's to breaking barriers, inspiring change, and designing a better future together. #WomenInArchitecture #InternationalWomensDay #OBrienArchitects

As Women in Construction Week comes to a close, we reflect on the insights our very own Project Designer, Marianne Scheer, shared during the panel discussion hosted by Gordon Highlander. Her message was simple but powerful—say yes. Opportunities in this industry may look different for women, but those differences can be strengths. We create new paths by embracing them, building community, and supporting one another. The future of construction is shaped by those willing to step up, take on challenges, and find opportunities where others see obstacles. Here’s to the women who continue to push boundaries and redefine what is possible. #WomenInConstruction #OBrienArchitects

Great design is not about forcing a signature style. At O’Brien Architects, we approach every project with fresh ideas, ensuring the architecture reflects the vision and needs of each client. We push creative boundaries while staying focused on what works best for the space, never working strong ideas into the ground. #ThoughtfulDesign #ArchitecturalExcellence #OBrienArchitects

Kicking off Women in Construction Week with a conversation that matters. Finding success in this industry is more than just honing your skills. It is about finding a firm that aligns with your values. Our very own Project Designer, Marianne Scheer, spoke on a panel about the importance of stepping into the uncomfortable, asking questions, and discovering what truly drives you. A strong skill set is important, but long-term fulfillment comes from working with people who share your vision and leadership you respect. This week, we celebrate the women shaping the future of construction, pushing boundaries, and building careers that reflect their passion. #WomenInConstruction #BuildingYourFuture #OBrienArchitects
