The UHS Heart & Vascular Institute recently completed their 1,000th TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) procedure. This milestone isn't just a number – it’s a testament to the expertise, dedication, and Trust we have built with our patients over the years. In honor of American Heart Month ??, UHS is spotlighting heart health awareness. On February 7th, Team UHS participated in "National Wear Red Day", part of the "Go Red for Women" awareness campaign. Go Red for Women is a comprehensive public campaign designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and inspire change to improve the lives of women in the United States and around the globe. John Carrigg, UHS President and Chief Executive Officer was among the featured speakers at this year's event, a presentation of UHS in conjunction with the regional American Heart Association office: “We are proud to be part of this annual observance, especially since UHS is home to the UHS Heart & Vascular Institute—the largest and most comprehensive center for heart excellence in the Greater Binghamton Region,” said Mr. Carrigg. “We are incredibly proud of what we have built here at UHS, significantly advancing cardiology and vascular services over the past several years.”?
