We are an alliance of farmers and experts here to shape the voice of the legal cannabis movement in New York.
关于我们
NY Small Farma Ltd. is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit working to promote environmental, economic, and social justice for cannabis. We strive for regeneration, not only in our farming practices but for our communities as well. All New Yorkers should reap the benefits from the end of cannabis prohibition. To us, farming is more than just the crops we produce. It starts quite literally from the ground up, with sun-grown, regenerative, and sustainable farming systems. These regenerative practices can create the most nutrient-rich cannabis while helping to repair our environment at the same time. Our communities are in desperate need of regeneration as well, and so our quest for regenerative restoration extends to people and communities. Together, we can create a thriving craft farm industry that employs a workforce that mirrors the diversity of our great state. Our hope for the future is that this amazing crop will be used for more than just monetary profit. It should be a vehicle for healing, community well-being, and change. We hope you will join us in our mission.

Please support today's press conference calling for budget funds to be allocated to the most harmed and the most vulnerable members of the cannabis community: the CDI neighborhoods and the individuals within them, especially programs and resources for Extra Priority applicants and licensees. Tuesday's post was an emotional sharing of some of our experiences and disappointments within the advocacy community. However, we can not let anything detract from the fact that Black and Brown communities in America have suffered from systemic racism since white people placed their feet on this country's soil. Our brothers and sisters of color, in particular Black communities, incessantly get not just the short end of the stick but often nothing. While we as advocates might not agree on how to work together or share in this message, the reality of the abject unfairness experienced by the Black community cannot assume a subsidiary role to any topic. Please re-post this flyer. Plaster it all over social media. Tag NYS leadership, including Kathy Hochul. Call them. Google your representative and make a call. Demand equitable protection of the inalienable rights of all people. Please join me. Let's hit them where it hurts, let them know their voters disapprove.

We are three years into legalization and the conditional program. The MRTA calls for no and low interest loans, incubators, and funding assistance for Social and Economic Equity adult-use cannabis Licensees. Social and Economic Equity applicants have been sidelined, waiting for three years to enter. What programs are funded in the budget for them? Which cannabis focused community and charitable organizations established to specifically help the SEE licensee and applicants are receiving funding? How many incubator programs will be able to begin developing with State funds? Which of your representatives championed social and economic equity by ensuring these MRTA mandated requirements were finally implemented? Medical Cannabis has been allotted $7M, so if its based on the most needy, it must be looking tight out there for the community right? Let's talk about the environment now shall we? We are drinking soggy straws, banning packaging, and imposing fees on existing businesses because they contribute to the climate crisis. So how much funding goes into developing a brand new industry not built on the same unsustainable practices? How much was set aside for that? #takenotesforelectionnight #regenerative #buylocal #smokelocal #whatajoke #nysisaheartbreaker

Our event Local Smoke has been canceled due to Office of Cannabis denying the permit for the Cannabis Growers Showcase and deeming the entire event illegal. According to OCM since they have not created regulations permitting indoor consumption where folks have to pay to consume and they get the taxes, they are compelled to deny any legal sale taking place next door to legal outdoor consumption as they do not recognize outdoor consumption in any area legal. Aint that some shizzzzittttt for the holidays. This is devastating the farmers, their employees, and all their families who rely on these revenue streams. It is also a financial blow to NYSF who spent hours and lots of money to organize a fundraiser that was sabotaged by OCM without cause and to all those who wanted to attend, the sponsors, supporters, and the whole community. We are working to get our raffle items posted online and making plans for our next event away from the beady unjust eyes of OCM. Stay tuned! We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks to all those who donated to support us during this time. Wishing all the best of the season and a blessed New Year.
