Governor Kathy Hochul’s FY 2026 Executive Budget includes record investments to support New Yorkers without raising income taxes. Today in New York City, OGS Commissioner Jeanette Moy met with the Asian American Federation to present details on how the Governor’s proposals will help working families by: ? Making New York more affordable through middle-class tax cuts, inflation refund checks, and tripling the child tax credit. ? Increasing housing supply with $1 billion for New York City’s “City of Yes” plan, new homeowner protections, and down payment assistance. ? Addressing subway safety by increasing NYPD staffing and National Guard presence, and $35 million for Securing Communities Against Hate Crimes grants. ? Expanding access to mental health care with teen mental health training and wellness in historically marginalized neighborhoods.
