Governor Kathy Hochul announced that new retail point-of-sale rebates are available for low and moderate-income New Yorkers for the purchase of energy-efficient clothes dryers at participating retailers. This makes New York the first state in the nation to offer these rebates through the Appliance Upgrade Program! The program will help eligible New Yorkers replace inefficient electric or gas-powered dryers with clean heat pump-powered alternatives, plus make associated electrical upgrades if needed.
