In honor of #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth, Simone Gonyea and Christina Mulé (at right) from the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities joined a multi-state panel hosted by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities to discuss promising practices and examples of collaboration for reaching Indigenous communities. The CDD is partnering with the Strong Center on a 5-year grant to diminish health disparities for Onondaga children with DD by increasing the capacity to serve and connect the Onondaga Nation to developmental services.
