Well deserved! Congratulations long time NYSAE member, Diane Neustadt, on this spectacular honor!
I was honored and humbled to accept an award at the 19th Annual Fundraising Gala hosted by the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) New York Chapter Saturday night. This yearly celebration honors and empowers future generations of nurses, dedicated members, generous supporters, and nursing leaders who are committed to fostering research, academic activities for the membership and continued advancement of Hispanic health care and culture. I was introduced to the chapter in 2016 by my sister, who worked closely with the incoming Chapter President Dan Suarez, MA RN NYAM Fellow and suggested we connect. The power of networking. Along with my colleagues Daniel A. Hochler and Hector Rivera, CFP?, CEPA, CLU? we gratefully continue to support the chapter and their members with financial education and guidance.
