We recently had an inspiring “Take your kids to work” day filled with exploration, learning, and laughter as employees proudly introduced their grade nine children to ROCKWOOL. Our young guests enjoyed a journey through our company’s legacy, learning how our innovative products are shaping the future and improving everyday life worldwide. The kids were thrilled by a behind-the-scenes factory tour, including an inspiring look at our quality lab, where they got to see our dedication to safety and quality firsthand. Congratulations to Team Switzerland for winning the 2024 World Championship Competition of Ventilated Facades! I had the honor of being invited by the International Federation For The Roofing Trade to witness this "Olympics" of Facades and Roofing on behalf of the Rainscreen Association in North America and supported by ROCKWOOL North America. The competition is open to the global network of young contractors (under 28 years old) and takes place every two years by the host city of the IFD's World Congress. This year was in Innsbruck, Austria. It was truly inspiring to see these young competitors assemble these facades with care, diligence and expedition. The competitive spirit was palpable as well as the art of the craft. I commend the IFD, it's partner sponsors (including the Fachverband Baustoffe und Bauteile für vorgeh?ngte hinterlüftete Fassaden e.V. (FVHF) and Wolfgang H?u?ler) and member sponsors for making this marvelous event happen. In 2026, it's Budapest and I sure hope that North America is in position to send a team to Hungary!
