Her advocacy helped enact landmark pieces of state legislation around progressive climate goals, clean air and water, and emissions reductions as well as increased funding for green infrastructure. Tighe previously held a number of roles at the state Department of Environmental Conservation, where she championed a $1 billion Superfund measure and state brownfield cleanup reform."
