As I noted, there is tremendous overlap between what we're doing at The New York Climate Exchange and the issues Con Edison must navigate on a daily basis: technology transitions, changing operating conditions that exceed current design parameters, different customer expectations, issues associated with financing in a regulated environment, etc. Looking forward to more discussions with you and your colleagues about how we can work together to create a more resilient and less carbon intensive NYC!

Last week, Trust for Governors Island President and CEO Clare Newman joined The State University of New York Chancellor John King at the Knight Media Forum to discuss how investing in climate resilience–like The New York Climate Exchange, anchored by Stony Brook University, and other climate initiatives on Governors Island–can unlock transformative economic opportunities for our communities.
