Supervisor at PKF O'Connor Davies Advisory, LLC Chair of the NYCPA Mid-Hudson Chapter NextGen Committee
??GO PANTHERS?? As a Wallkill Senior High School Alum Class of 2010, it was an honor being able to come back to my old stomping grounds and speak to over 100 students yesterday about the abundance of career paths within the accounting world. It was an amazing experience presenting to students from freshmen to seniors from Financial Literacy, Career and Financial Management, Accounting, & Capstone classes. On behalf of the NYCPA - The New York State Society of CPAs Mid-Hudson NextGen Committee and as Chair, I would like to acknowledge and say thank you to Brian Vegliando, my previous global studies teacher and his team at Wallkill Senior High School for inviting us to spend some time with them. I would also like to say thank you to NextGen member Nicole Gilmartin, CPA, MBA and president elect Nicholas Watkins, CPA, MBA for your dedication and valuable contributions that made this day such a success! “Accounting is the art of managing chaos with logic and numbers, much like life itself!”
