Team NYCM came together in a big way! 247 lbs. of non-perishable food items were collected and donated to the Feed Our Vets Organization of Utica, NY, where their goal is to provide food to veterans whose circumstances have left them on the battlefield of hunger. Collected items were also donated to local food pantries preparing for the upcoming holiday season. ??

Our Underwriting division is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Technical role! The Technical (Underwriting) position is responsible for processing transactional queues/technical queues and DMV IIES tasks including phone support, and incoming mail and email handling. Other tasks include handling all functions of property inspections, reviewing crystal reports, documenting PACE, collaborating with various divisions while implementing and auditing program requests, conducting presentations on new programs moving into production, and general project support assistance. Our Auto Claims division is looking for an on-the-road Appraiser that would work within Putnam and Westchester counties or the northern Bronx! The Appraiser is responsible for completing accurate, quality appraisals of damaged vehicles, handling moderate complexity claims within assigned authority limits consistent with company policy and procedures, completing supplemental appraisals, providing total loss opinions, and ARP (Direct Repair Facility) re-inspections as needed, all while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate for this role has at least one year experience as an Auto Damage Appraiser utilizing some form of electronic estimate writing software, has an NYS Auto Damage and Theft License in addition to an NYS Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Our Property/Commercial division is looking for a Property Examiner to join their team! The Property Examiner is responsible for evaluating property claims to determine coverage and damages based upon claim knowledge. They assess and ensure the customer’s needs and expectations of the claim process are met including coverage verification, investigation, evaluation, and disposition of the claim in compliance with applicable insurance regulations and NYCM’s best practices.
