Francis and Neuberger Berman’s Chief of Staff, Heather Zuckerman, warmly welcomed us for a private tour of their impressive art collection at the 6th Avenue location. They then treated us to an inspiring fireside chat where they shared insights on how a strong culture is built by the team and permeates every aspect of their work environment. As Heather aptly put it, "Culture comes from the team." One of the standout points was their approach to career development. They offer customized coaching to help managers uncover their staff's needs and career aspirations, ensuring that everyone can grow and succeed together. Fostering talents around music, art, running, and other interests that become official company clubs show a deep commitment to nurturing individual interests and fostering a vibrant community. It's easy to assume that the common denominator in the room is "CIO" but once you take a seat and listen to a person's story, it's clear that life, with all it's wonderous points of inspiration, is the unifying force. ?? Last night at Tony's at the J House in Greenwich, we marveled at Phillip Dundas' world travels and took notes for our own wish lists. ?? Stew Gibson shared how this amazing NewYorkCIO community rallied together at the onset of the pandemic to support, scale, and show-up for each other in ways they never expected -- and still speak about with pride. ? Our thinking caps were on but no match for trivia GODS Dave Blankenship and Phillip Dundas as the owner, Tony, delighted us with fascinating trivia delivered by his supernatural speed of thought. Ryan J. Crosby, Ratna Subrahmanyam, and Suvajit Basu led us through the lands of AI use cases, ERP implementations, and trusted guidance, sharing what's working and what's not. The journey lasted one special night but the inspiration will travel with everyone for a long time. Thank you for your leadership in creating this incredible opportunity Ryan J.
