Lowering carbon emissions in healthcare facilities is a vital step in our push towards a more sustainable and climate-resilient New York City. Today, NYC Citywide Administrative Services and NYC Health + Hospitals - Queens announced the completion of a large-scale energy efficiency upgrade. The $8.2 million project will cut green house gas emissions by approximately 1,500 metric tons of CO2e per year and save more than $400,000 annually. https://lnkd.in/dk-ntHfn

Crime is down in NYC for the 10th straight month, but we still remain vigilant as incidents occur. DCAS Police were needed recently to assist with a stabbing victim. They quickly responded to the situation and provided assistance to the victim until EMS arrived. We thank them for keeping New Yorkers safe.?
