Congratulations and welcome to Arch Tech Professor Eugene Seungho Park Professor Eugene Seungho Park is an architect, designer, and educator based in New York City. He is the founding principal of STUDIO KYSH—, an interdisciplinary architecture studio established in 2019, where he leads a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial renovation projects across the NYC metropolitan area and Seoul, Korea. His practice has earned international recognition through notable awards, such as the winning masterplan for the Korea Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka and a second-place award for the Jeonju Railway Station International Competition. In addition to his architectural practice, Eugene serves as a senior advisor to HanmiGlobal, focusing on advancing construction management strategies and fostering industry-wide collaborations. His research interests extend to broader areas of sustainability, including Design for Disassembly (DfD), Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), mass timber, prefab and modular construction, and adaptive reuse. His commitment to academia is further demonstrated through independent projects, such as the "Architecture of Insecurity" (2021) exhibition at SPACE776 New York, funded by a research grant from the Korean Government. As an educator, he has delivered lectures and workshops at various institutions around the world including école Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Parsons School of Design, University of Cincinnati, and Hongik University. Before establishing his practice, Eugene played a key role in multiple civic and cultural projects during his tenure at Adjaye Associates and MIT Urban Risk Lab, with major contributions to the Studio Museum in Harlem in New York City. #newfaculty?#architecture?#nycct
