Today was truly a day to remember! This morning in Times Square, NYC Second Chance Rescue had the incredible honor of ringing the opening bell at Nasdaq, casting a brilliant spotlight on our mission and the lifesaving work we do. Our advisory board member, Jessica Peters, not only rang the bell but also delivered a powerful message addressing the animal welfare crisis and the urgent need to support our city's shelters. No special day would be complete without a dog by our side, and we were thrilled to have Rocky with us—a resilient young dog we rescued from an overburdened shelter alongside his brother. Thank you to Nasdaq for this incredible honor and to our community for your unwavering support, today and every day. Together, we work for the animals, proving that it truly takes a village.
