We are thrilled to be chosen for Stop & Shop's Bloomin' for Good program for our dedication to helping people in need! This month, every bouquet of specifically marked "Bloomin' 4 Good" flowers purchased, we will receive a portion of the proceeds! This Holiday Season we were able to prepare complete meals for 12 families and toys for 11 families that are dealing with Breast Cancer and who are in financial need. We couldn't have done it without everyone's help! Thank you so much to all the individual contributors, volunteers and stores for your support and donations! Every dollar we raise goes directly towards supporting events for those in need. Since officially starting the 501(c)(3) organization this year, we have completed 8 events. These events include: ? ALS fundraiser for a local mother ? Two Veteran hospital events ? Veterans at risk events ? Fundraiser to directly benefit NYPD officers battling cancer ? Breast cancer holiday meals for Thanksgiving and December holidays ? Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition Thanksgiving Meals On Wednesday, we assisted the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition and the Islip Breast Cancer Coalition with providing over 100 families with complete Thanksgiving meals. They were for families who are dealing with women's cancer to help alleviate the pressure of preparing a meal so they can spend more time with family. In addition, over 25 meals were provided to veterans who are at risk and in need through the Suffolk Police Veterans Association. Special appreciation and thank you to all the volunteers that help support this event every year, Babylon Rotary Club, and Apple Ice for their donations every year ????

NY BBQ Brigade helping to support the Kiwanis Club of the Bellmores Thanksgiving Meals food drive! We smoked 300 turkeys that will be made into 5,000 individual meals. The meals will be delivered to patients in a local Veterans hospital, Children's hospital, and a Behavioral health hospital. All to people who are unable to spend time at home with their families during Thanksgiving. They will also be provided to a local Soup kitchen and families who are in financial need. An extra special heart felt thank you to the volunteers who spent an incredible amount of hours helping. Also special thanks to the American Legion Massapequa NY Post 1066 for the generosity of allowing us to use their facility. Along with Joe Tree Tree Service and The Propane Guys for donating the wood for the 8 smokers we used, and Pavese Party Tents Inc. who donated the tables. Each company stepped up without hesitation. Without everyone's help, we wouldn't be able to help provide to others. So thank you everyone

Not BBQ related but still helping out. Last week we went to St Lucie County Florida with Team Rubicon to help elderly and disabled homeowners start to rebuild from the aftermath of hurricane Milton's tornadoes. We tarped roofs, boarded windows and cleared debris from yards. Grateful to have the opportunity to volunteer with Team Rubicon, a veteran based disaster relief organization. ???? I recommend checking them out if you can as they do amazing work! A goal of ours is to cook for the volunteers when the time suits.

On Sunday, October 6th, we had two events. For the second event, we worked together with Suffolk Police Veterans Association and The BBQ Brethren to provide food to support a fundraiser for NYPD families dealing with cancer. The event was through the NYPD Equestrian Club and A World Of Pink where they hosted a Hoof ball event. The event was a great success with a lot of fun watching the NYPD club playing soccer with horses! Thank you everyone for helping make this event a success and Pal-O-Mine Equestrian for hosting it! ????

On Sunday, October 6th, the NY BBQ Brigade worked together with the Suffolk Police Veterans Association and the the BBQ Brethren to provide food to support Vet Fest 2024. The event was a great success with providing resources to benefit Veterans, current service members and their families and was sponsored by the Veteran Suicide Prevention Coalition. Thank you everyone for helping make this event a success and Pal-O-Mine Equestrian for hosting it! ????

Food Protection Manager Certification course completed and exam passed!

Thank you Midwest BBQ Outreach for inviting us out again to your annual Madison Wisconsin VA Medical Center BBQ! We had a great time cooking alongside everyone volunteering and providing meals for Veterans and staff at the hospital. Together we cooked for over 1,500 staff and Veterans. 400 racks of ribs, 2000 pieces of chicken, 23 pans of beans, 50 pans of mac and cheese, 10 bologna logs, and 100 veggie burgers. We had people travel from different states to help including Alabama, Minnesota, Missouri, Indiana, and New York!
