The New York International Auto Show has just added another trophy to its collection! This year, the Show has been honored with the prestigious Power of Associations Award from the ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership (ASAE) for its expanded 2024 Electric Vehicle (EV) Test Track. The Show’s 2024 Electric Vehicle Test Track is where consumers got to feel the thrill of the latest electric vehicles zooming around a brand-new, expanded course. And they loved it! Ridership on the EV Test Track soared by 20% compared to last year, with curious drivers and passengers more engaged than ever in their desire to experience and learn about electric vehicles. The track included vehicles from Chevrolet, Cadillac, KIA Motors, Lucid Motors, Nissan Motor Corporation, and Volkswagen. “With our revamped EV Test Track, we saw incredible results—78% of riders said they’re now more likely to consider an electric vehicle, and for 36%, it was their very first EV experience. This award is a testament to the vital role Auto Shows play in helping people connect with and embrace new technologies. Genesis turned up the heat last night at Genesis House when we unveiled our new Magma high performance program and a GV60 Magma concept joining a lineup that is ??! Genesis also unveiled the Neolun Concept showcasing a blend of innovation and luxury, featuring B-pillarless coach doors, seamless design and radiant heating system inspired by Korea’s traditional “ondol.” Our designers Luc Donckerwolke and SangYup Lee showed the world once again that they are the best in the business. Tedros Mengiste, Szymon Walus, Luc Donckerwolke, Randy Parker and I showed the two fingers pose as an homage to the two line design language on every Genesis. We were standing by the new production ready G80 Magma. The brand is moving with incredible speed with a stellar lineup after only nine short years. The Neolun Concept points to very exciting future for Genesis.
