Academic vs. Private Sector AI – Calls for government investment in computing power or mandates requiring companies to share resources. ?? Hospitals – Funding for hospitals will very like face significant cuts as Medicare spending is reduced, likely leading to inequitable rollouts and usage of AI across healthcare settings in the U.S. Great start to the day at this conference, presented by Cornell Tech, The New York Academy of Sciences, and Weill Cornell Medicine.
