Last week, NXT Capital volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository to sort, inspect, and repack goods to be distributed to food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in Cook County. Volunteers at the event packed 4,392 pounds of pasta, 4,428 pounds of bread, and 7,546 pounds of apples for a total of 13,638 meals. We look forward to more opportunities to give back to our community and help end food insecurity with the Greater Chicago Food Depository!

Recently, NXT Capital and ORIX Corporation USA sponsored the HighSight Chicago Golf Outing to help raise funds to support their efforts with 125 HighSight Scholars in Highsight’s four-year program. This program provides scholars with partial high-school scholarships, academic support, leadership development, and college-access counseling to prepare them to thrive in selective colleges across the country. We are grateful for the opportunity to support HighSight’s mission of making education accessible to all in Chicago. NXT Capital recently participated in the Cradles to Crayons Chicago Backpack-A-Thon where our volunteers helped to pack 35,000 backpacks with new school supplies for Chicagoland kids as they prepare for their first day of school.
