NX Filtration’s hollow fiber nanofiltration membranes are selected for municipal wastewater demonstration project in the Netherlands. ? We are proud that NX Filtration’s membrane technology has been selected by Waterschap Vechtstromen and Nijhuis Saur Industries for the removal of medicine residues and other micropollutants. ? A demo solution will be developed at Vechtstromen’s wastewater treatment plant in Enschede to remove medicine residues from the treated municipal wastewater, avoiding polluted discharge and even enabling the recycling of this water for industrial use. Removal of medicine residues from wastewater is needed at large scale to comply with national and European regulations on water quality. ? We will work together on this project UPPWATER with Nijhuis Water Technology, Jotem Water Solutions, Van Remmen UV Technology, ADS Groep, Pannekoek GWW B.V., Moekotte, Nijhuis Saur Industries and Witteveen+Bos. We are excited to announce that NX Filtration has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Maymanah Contracting Co. LTD on March 12, 2025. Through this agreement, our patented HFNF technology will be implemented at one of their Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) reuse sites in Saudi Arabia, providing high-quality permeate water for planting and irrigation. Today, we were also pleased to welcome the Philippine delegation — one of the many country delegations we’ve had the honor of hosting, thanks to Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). Additionally, we gave a presentation to a Chinese delegation, made possible by Water 2 Resources China — a great opportunity to share insights and explore new collaborations!
