NWTC Center for Entrepreneurship

The NWTC Center for Entrepreneurship serves enrolled NWTC students, new students in the process of enrolling and others who are part of the NWTC family, such as individuals who participate in programs at the Artisan Center or NWTC Regional Learning Centers. The NWTC Center for Entrepreneurship: ? Provides one-to-one counseling on business ideas, business models and other basic business topics. ? Helps individuals with the basics of business formation such as filing for an LLC, determining what types of licenses may be needed, and so on. ? Explores entrepreneurship and how that looks for each person. Discussions may turn into business ideas, or individuals may simply decide to wait until a later time to pursue business ownership. ? Helps business owners to discover different ways to grow a business or how to pivot to a different business model or target market in order to expand. ? Hosts events such as networking events to expand attendees’ professional networks, collaboration events to facilitate entrepreneurial partnerships and educational entrepreneurship events. ? Refers entrepreneurs to both NWTC resources and community resources that provide services and support to small business owners. ? Elevates the understanding and practice of entrepreneurial thinking across departments within the college.
