A Design Charrette is a collaborative planning session where community members, designers, and stakeholders come together to brainstorm ideas, create design concepts, and shape real solutions. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is inviting the public to open-house style meetings to discuss the upcoming I-94 reconstruction project. Join us on March 18 (TODAY!) at the Tommy Thompson Youth Center (Gate 5, 640 S. 84th Street) or on March 19 at Marquette University High School (3401 N. Wisconsin Ave) to learn about project details and anticipated impacts. These meetings will also provide insights on I-94 utility work beginning in 2025, including updates on overhead and underground lines, tower replacements, and sewer/gas line improvements—expect traffic impacts as work progresses.
