Last week, NWRA’s CEO Michael E. Hoffman had the privilege of attending Stericycle’s Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for their state-of-the-art disposal facility in McCarran, Nevada. This new facility is truly a testament to innovation and environmental responsibility: ? ??Industry-leading pollution control system – setting a new standard in emissions management across all forms of incineration. ??Zero discharge commitment – a monumental step toward protecting local ecosystems. ??Strong community relations – this facility stands as a model for how industry can partner with communities for a sustainable future. ??2nd largest facility of its kind in the U.S. – proof of our sector’s significant growth and investment in cleaner, safer waste management. ? We are proud to support such advancements that contribute to a cleaner, safer environment for all. Congratulations to Stericycle on this achievement! #SustainableWasteManagement #EnvironmentalInnovation #CommunityRelations #NWRA

?? Great insights and connections at the NWRA Minnesota Chapter's Annual Meeting this week! We kicked off with an impactful legislative wrap-up for 2024, led by chapter lobbyist Amber Backhaus, and gained valuable economic insights from Tony Kwilas and Doug Loon of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. Our President and CEO, Michael E. Hoffman, provided an exciting national NWRA update, and we charted the course for our top priorities in 2025. The day concluded with fantastic networking at Topgolf! Huge thanks to our sponsor, West Central Sanitation, for making this day possible. ?? #NWRA #Networking #WasteAndRecycling #MinnesotaChapter #Sustainability #Topgolf
