Networking Women of the Triangle turns 8 today! 8 years ago, I created this Facebook group in the midst of a job search, as an introvert who preferred to network online. Gigi Marie Stephenson immediately agreed to be my VP and we took off from there. As we continued to grow, we asked Ruby Brown-Herring to join us and she was the perfect addition to complete our admin trio. NWOTT quickly grew as it was a great place to connect broadly with job seekers, business owners, recruiters, and networkers. We've hosted career fairs, social events, professional development events, monthly networking events, and have a few A-team cohorts across the Triangle. There's so much more we have in store. Today, even though the group has over 53,200 members, we still feel like we're the best kept secret in the Triangle for professional women. ??
