About The Northwest Ohio Business Mentoring Program Often the most valuable advice comes from someone who has already been down the road you are traveling. Good mentors help entrepreneurs get their businesses started faster and grow them more successfully while avoiding common mistakes along the way. The Northwest Ohio Business Mentoring Program matches entrepreneurs with experienced mentors, who donate their valuable time because they believe supporting the next generation of great business leaders is the key to a vibrant economy. The program provides advice and critical experience in areas such as sales, marketing, management and human resources. Ideal mentee candidates for the program are scalable companies ranging from pre-revenue to cash-flow positive.

  • The NWO Business Mentoring Program partnered with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library Small Business team for Entrepreneurship Week on 11.12.2024! ?? With 55 entrepreneurs in attendance, it was an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. The event featured an engaging networking bingo session, helping attendees build their Power Team (referral partners) and gain valuable insights about local resources to elevate their businesses. We had an incredible morning at our Mentor and Mentee Coffee Connections, hosted by the Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority!   • Two weeks ago, we launched our NWOBMP Fall Cohort, and mentors and mentees are already connecting! We'd like to shine a spotlight on our incredible mentors who are dedicating their time to shaping the next generation of leaders. For our first #MentorSpotlight, we want to highlight Sheila Eason, SHRM-SCP, SPHR Founder & CEO of Elevate People Solutions. Sheila is the driving force behind Elevate People Solutions, serving as its founder and CEO. A seasoned expert with over 25 years of experience, Sheila is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Leadership Development Coach, International Speaker, Trainer, Coach, and Consultant. She specializes in personal growth and professional development, helping individuals identify what’s holding them back and achieve greater self-esteem and happiness. She works with businesses to solve their important business problems and provides consulting in a number of key areas, such as organizational development, human resources, and training. Her expertise lies in empowering leaders to build their confidence and competence and unleash their full potential. Her passion is to help people grow. On October 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sheila will lead the Live2Lead conference, featuring four expert panelists and four virtual speakers.
