A message from our Executive Director! Chase McPherson
Gratitude As I reflect on my 3rd month at NWCC, I want to write about how thankful I am to be part of such a wonderful community. Every day, our humanitarian team interacts with people who have health issues, who are scared, who are cold, wet, and tired. One could ignore them or move them to be someone else's issue, but our community members have made it clear we need to help them. While I am hopeful that our new government will take action, I am inspired by our community's message that we can't afford to wait. These are people too, they deserve our help.?? I am grateful to all our members for supporting NWCC's efforts. Because of you, we have seen people reunite with family, get into shelters to get warm, and get off the street to get the support they need.? I am thankful for my team, board, and members who are supportive, genuine, and kind. Thank you, all, and Happy Thanksgiving!? Photo: Enjoying a break with Terrance from the NWCC humanitarian team.
