Strength in numbers! RPC continues to collaborate with passionate Portland leaders as we work to revitalize our great city. This morning, board members, Evan Bernstein, Jody Cienfuegos and 2025 President, Jose Cienfuegos met with former Fred Meyer CEO, Ken Thrasher, Board Chair of NWCCpdx, who is doing amazing work improving safety, livability and business in Portland.

Cobblestones and brick streets downtown just make me so happy. Coffee from Sisters Coffee and a walk in the Pearl District this morning really hit the spot for me. Does anyone have unique street features they love around Portland? And shout out to Chase McPherson and the NWCCpdx for their work in the Pearl District.

NWCC introduces Stories from the Street! Meet Heidi and Korey, living in a tent on 16th and Lovejoy, got stuck in Portland after Heidi, in a Seattle drug treatment program, came to help Korey. They couldn't get assistance. NWCC's Terrance confirmed Heidi is in a Port Angeles program. The team arranged bus tickets, food, and shelter in Seattle, where Korey will join the treatment program and they'll have family support.
