?? Bridge to Life at UNOS Primer 2024 ?? This week, we had the honor of sponsoring and attending UNOS Primer, where we gained valuable insights into organ allocation, policy development, and best practices for organ donation and transplantation. We are inspired by the meaningful discussions and the chance to connect with UNOS staff and transplant professionals in this collaborative, small-group environment. Thank you, United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), for bringing the transplant community together to learn, share, and grow. #BridgeToLife #UNOSPrimer2024 #UNOS #OrganDonation #Transplantation

?? HOPE for the Week: Advancing Transplant Preservation Technology A recent study from the Udine transplant center highlights the benefits of using oxygenated hypothermic perfusion machines (MPs) in liver transplants. This innovative method has expanded the donor pool, especially for older donors, while maintaining successful outcomes. Additionally, allowing junior surgeons to work without time pressure, thanks to MP's versatility, has been greatly appreciated. This advancement supports both improved logistics and specialized surgical training. #HOPEfortheWeek #TransplantInnovation #OrganDonation #LiverTransplant
