This innovative method has expanded the donor pool, especially for older donors, while maintaining successful outcomes. Additionally, allowing junior surgeons to work without time pressure, thanks to MP's versatility, has been greatly appreciated. Great to be back for a few days to the place where my surgical journey started about 40 years ago: Warsaw, Poland ????????????. From 15-16 November, together with prof. dr. Ga??zka, Rutger Ploeg, MD PhD FRCS FEBS and Micha? Macech I organized the International Masterclass on Donor Management, Kidney Procurement and Preservation in Transplantation at the Medical University of Warsaw - MUW. It were two great days loaded with interesting discussions and hands on practice with kidney perfusion machines. A big thanks to all the participants for their trust and participation in this course.
