Working with third-party research organizations NUVU Health has developed novel optical methods for the detection of diet-derived tissue nutrients that are important for human health.? To date we have focused on fluorescence and spatially resolved reflection based methods for the detection of protective micronutrients in skin and in the retina. Through various third parties we develop portable instrumentation for use in clinical and field settings.? ? Our current efforts expand on the optical detection possibilities for tissue nutrients to include relevant biomarkers in human interstitial fluid and sweat. Our focus is always finding widespread applications in the fields of general nutrition, public health, nutrition science, and medicine.? ?
