We’re so proud of our #breastcancer and #breastimaging experts for including breast density in radiology reports, even before the recent new FDA guidelines. Our patients matter so much to us, and we want everyone to be as informed as possible when it comes to their breast health. As a risk factor for #breastcancer, it’s important for women to understand breast density. On Saturday, September 28, over 100 volunteers gave back to our community during Vassar Brothers Medical Center third annual Community Health Day. ?? Together, they served about 230 community members at the Family Partnership Center in Poughkeepsie. Spirits were high and the energy was overwhelmingly positive! Our team and local partners provided many essential services to those in need. From screenings to support groups, we came together for what matters most — the health of our community! We are excited to celebrate Patty Zeiner’s incredible 50-year journey as a devoted nurse at Sharon Hospital, where her passion for caring for the community has touched countless lives. ?? Throughout her career, Patty has worked in the ICU, emergency room and operating room, all while balancing life as a mother and devoted spouse. Patty’s love for Sharon Hospital continued through her most trying times, like her recent battle with breast cancer. Now cancer-free, Patty is considering returning to the place she calls home. ??
