    As of November, Nuuly’s net sales have grown 48.4% YoY, showing that circular fashion isn’t just a trend; it’s the future. With 25% of our offerings having undergone at least one repair, we keep clothes in rotation longer–42,000+ pounds of them–and don’t charge damage fees.     Meet Luke Grisoglio, Nuuly’s Inventory Control Manager. Luke oversees a number of operations in our Distribution Center, but his main focus is on keeping garments stocked so our Nuulyers can keep on Nuulying! Originally from Philadelphia, Luke has been a member of the URBN team for 13 years, and joined Nuuly 6 years ago—around the time of our launch. An average day for Luke involves a lot of moving parts—monitoring the complex systems in our Distribution Center, following up with his associates and checking on a *lot* of facts + figures. Whether he’s sitting at his desk or running around the DC, you can usually find Luke listening to sports talk radio to help him focus. Luke’s supervisor, Dreama Dillon, described him as “a true team player in every sense." She said, “there are people who make an impact, and then there are people like Luke, who are truly indispensable. Having worked with him for the past six years, I can confidently say that he is absolutely critical to Nuuly’s success.” When he isn’t chasing down Nuuly rentals, Luke loves riding his skateboard around the city, or settling in for a game night on his Nintendo Switch. And on Friday at 5pm? He’s heading straight home to hang out with his cat—and best friend—Scrubby. #urbn #nuuly #meettheteam #inventorycontrol

Last year alone, our talented repairs team extended the life of 1.7 million garments by removing 1.2 million stains, fixing 500,000 rips and replacing 50,000 buttons.     Meet Pamela Duque, the Divisional Merchandising Manager at Nuuly. Pamela has been with Nuuly for almost 6 years, and leads the Buying and Buying Operations teams—which means she's responsible for overseeing product and making sure our shipments arrive on time for our subscribers to rent. In her day-to-day, you’ll find Pamela meeting with brands to source new styles, running numbers with the data science team, or developing lookbooks alongside the merchandising team. Her role often takes Pamela outside of our HQ in Philadelphia—in fact, she recently traveled to New Delhi and Copenhagen to research some new looks for our subscribers. Pamela’s time at Nuuly has given her both personal and professional growth. She said, “I have had the opportunity to learn from such smart people. This is very cheesy, but sometimes in meetings I look around and I can’t believe I get the opportunity to learn and share thoughts and ideas with all of them.” She’s a self-proclaimed ‘yes’ person, and believes that a smile goes a very long way when working in a tight-knit team. Outside of work, you can usually find Pamela taking a workout class, perusing local antique malls or experimenting with natural fabric dyeing techniques. And on a Friday at 5pm? Source: National Ski Areas Association This past weekend we brought 24 Black and brown people (our entire Hike Clerb Inc team & guides) to ASPEN from across the country to participate in winter sport clinics led by a team of Black and brown instructors for our 2nd annual SNOWCLERB ??! To say that core memories were created is an understatement! The ripples we are making by TAKING UP SPACE all over the place reach beyond what we can even comprehend.     Meet Cara Heenan, Senior Associate of Brand Marketing at Nuuly. Cara joined our team in February 2020 and began as a Customer Success Associate. She then transitioned to a Sample Coordinator role and later continued her Nuuly journey by landing a post on the marketing team. Cara has enjoyed working on different areas of the business, but her favorite part has always been the people. She said, “Everyone I’ve worked with here has taught me so much, whether they know it or not. It’s great working at a place where everyone is welcoming and happy to aid in your career growth.” On an average day, you’ll find Cara wearing many different hats. She spends her days coordinating new product collabs and brand partnerships, like our recent partnership with KC Current, and looping in our PR agency with upcoming Nuuly news. On top of that, Cara helps manage various press events, and was thrilled to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony of our KC Fulfilment Center earlier this year. When she isn’t at the office, you might find Cara hitting the slopes. As an avid skier since her childhood, she loves spending the winter months in the mountains.
