We're so proud that our own Callie Sher has been invited to speak at The Family Business Leader Roundtable, as one of only five women sharing their personal experiences in the areas of leadership, governance, succession and entrepreneurship over 2 days. Callie Sher (YPO Chicagoland) joined her family – parents and their 4 siblings (2 sets of twins!) - as the Head of Quality and Operations. "Using local, fresh, and clean ingredients, we are known for limited ingredient diets using a holistic approach to maximize our pet’s longevity and potential." In 2019, Callie was chosen for the Next-Generation Manufacturing Leadership award from the National Association of Manufacturers for Evanger's semi-dried pet food formulation. She competed against multinational conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. Callie's role moved to Vice President of Operations. In 2022, she worked with Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center for Daily Management, helping her team with Kaizen, Gemba walks, and lean manufacturing. In 2023, Callie landed on the front page of the Wall Street Journal for her Kosher for Passover Pet Food. Now global, Evanger's Pet Food is working towards minimizing its carbon paw print with BPA free and infinitely recyclable cans. The products can be found in several countries, thousands of retailers across the USA and is considered a leading canned pet food brand.
