? Have you heard the news? ? The Nursey Foundation Impact Fund is now accepting grant applications! ?? Today, we're thrilled to spotlight the incredible difference Hopeville Food Pantry made last year with our Hurricane Relief grant support. ?? With the help of our funding, they provided essential resources such as food, Christmas gifts, medical aid, and hurricane relief, directly impacting: ???1,073 families?(including 1,208 adults, 728 seniors, 625 children, and 51 veterans) ???294 children?who received Christmas gifts, bringing joy and warmth during the holiday season ???5,367+ boxes of food?distributed to combat hunger ?? Critical aid for families affected by hurricane flooding and urgent medical needs One single mother shared how deeply the Christmas support touched her family: each child received a full outfit including shoes, two toys of their choice, and she received a warm blanket—creating an impact that went far beyond material needs. ?? Happy Friday!??? Today, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the impact we’ve been able to make alongside one of our incredible partners. ?? The?Community Food Pantry?has been a valued partner since the?Nursey Foundation’s?inception, and we have always admired the amazing work they do for the?Tampa Bay?community. By distributing thousands of pounds of food that might have otherwise gone to waste, they provide essential support to individuals in need. Thanks to our?Hurricane Relief Grant?in Q4 of 2024, the Community Food Pantry has been able to?expand its reach, ensuring its shelves remain stocked even during food shortages. Their impact is remarkable—they serve over?1,100 families each month, providing supplemental groceries to approximately?4,400 people. We are honored to play a small role in this mission. This is just a glimpse of what we strive to achieve through the?Nursey Foundation Impact Fund, which will allow us to financially support even more?Tampa Bay nonprofits?in need. Together, we can make an even greater impact.???

In November 2024, we provided a?hurricane relief grant?to?Pinellas Hope, allowing them to restore services for?255 individuals?impacted by the storms. After spending?three weeks displaced, every individual was able to return to shelter and receive the support they needed. Thanks to this grant, the shelter grounds were rebuilt, providing residents with a safe place to heal and move forward. Many clients not only expressed their gratitude but also took part in the clean-up efforts—showing the power of community resilience. The trauma of being displaced while already facing homelessness is overwhelming, but with this support,?Pinellas Hope was able to recover quickly and continue serving those in need. We’re honored to partner with nonprofits across?Tampa Bay and beyond, ensuring that when disaster strikes,?recovery follows.??? ???Grant Applications Open Soon!??? The countdown is on! In just a few days, we’ll begin accepting grant applications for NFIF funding. Is your organization ready? To see if you qualify, we encourage you to explore our website and review the requirements. Here are a few key things to keep in mind: ? Must be a?501(c)(3) public charity?in good standing with the IRS ? Operational for?at least three years?with a?proven track record?of community impact ??Physically located?in the Greater Tampa Bay Area and serving the local community ? Align with?at least one of NFIF’s five funding pillars?(even if your organization operates beyond them, the specific initiative seeking funding must align) ? Submit a?complete?application with all required documentation ? Ensure your program/project?does not require recipients to pay?for services ? Today, we had the amazing opportunity to see the Project Focus Drama Therapy Program in action!???? We were proud to support this program last year, so it was truly a pleasure to witness the incredible advancements they've made. Drama therapy is a powerful tool that helps young adults with disabilities build confidence, develop social and communication skills, and express themselves in a safe, creative environment. Seeing firsthand how this program fosters growth, inclusion, and self-expression was truly inspiring.
